Dr. Maria Escobar, DSW, LCSW,NPT-C,CDVP

Co-Owner/ Therapist

I am Dr. Maria Escobar; a bilingual/bicultural (Spanish/English) clinical licensed social worker in the state of Illinois. I have over 10-years of experience working in the clinical field supporting and guiding children, adolescent, adult and senior clients. In my clinical work, I gain perspective and understanding of real-life challenges of clients that have experienced personal struggles such as: emotional difficulties, self-esteem, trauma, grief/loss, relationship difficulties, family and parenting conflict, school/work-related struggles, and financial hardships among many others.

In my practice, I coordinate with individuals to develop treatment plans that are sensitive to their specific needs and realistic in nature so that progress can be easily measured and achieved. My treatment approach is always tailored to clients and I offer comfort, understanding, support, guidance, sincerity, honesty and direction. Professionally, I am a life-long learner and even though I have studied and applied different treatment approaches, I continued to be inspired by the abundance of opportunities to broaden my clinical work, as well as to enrich the lives of the people I work with.
